چکیده

Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and heat-related illness are systemic febrile diseases. These illnesses must be differentiated during a COVID-19 pandemic in summer. However, no studies have compared distinguished COVID-19. We data from patients with early those Methods: This retrospective observational study included 90 selected the Heatstroke STUDY 2017-2019 (nationwide registries of Japan) 86 laboratory-confirmed who had fever or fatigue were admitted to one two hospitals Tokyo, Japan. Results: Among vital signs, systolic blood pressure (119 vs. 125 mm Hg, p = 0.02), oxygen saturation (98% 97%, < 0.001), body temperature (36.6°C 37.6°C, p<0.001) showed significant between-group differences heatstroke groups, respectively. The numerous intergroup laboratory findings disparities white cell count (10.8 × 103/μL 5.2 103/μL, p<0.001), creatinine (2.2 0.85 mg/dL, C-reactive protein (0.2 2.8 although logistic regression model achieved an area under curve (AUC) 0.966 using these three factors. A Random Forest machine learning accuracy, precision, recall, AUC 0.908, 0.976, 0.842, 0.978, Creatinine was most important feature this model. Conclusions: Acute kidney injury associated illness, which could essential distinguishing evaluating summer pandemic.

Hyaluronic Acid as a New Biomarker to Differentiate Acute Kidney Injury From Chronic Kidney Disease.

INTRODUCTION It may be difficult to differentiate acute kidney injury from chronic kidney disease in patients with no past medical reports of kidney function. This study aimed to investigate the role of serum hyaluronic acid (HA), which is known as a marker of fibrosis, in differential diagnosis of kidney failure. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 90 patients (52 women and 38 mne) admitted to ...

Different Biomarkers of Acute kidney Injury in Cancer Patients

Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) occurs if the kidneys suddenly lose their ability to remove waste products. When the kidneys lose their ability to filter, dangerous levels of waste products can accumulate, which can upset the chemical composition of the blood and urine. Chemotherapy is one of the methods used to treat or temporarily reduce cancer by using certain medications. The main task of this tr...

A Review to Differentiate Acute Kidney Injury from Chronic Kidney Disease

The symptoms and signs of kidney disease are generally nonspecific to the underlying kidney disease. A considerable amount of these patients admit only with elevation in serum urea and creatinine. It is essential to first determine whether the disease is acute, subacute, or chronic for the differential diagnosis in a patient who presents with an elevated serum creatinine. The distinction betwee...

Biomarkers of acute kidney injury.

Creatinine remains the standard for laboratory diagnosis of AKI. Efforts to prevent nephrotoxicity have been harmed by the delay in the diagnosis of AKI criteria by using only the creatinine as a marker, therefore there is great interest in identifying early reliable biomarkers. Moreover, early treatment of ARF can be correlated with a better prognosis and identification of biomarkers for early...

Biomarkers of Acute Kidney Injury

The diagnosis of acute kidney injury (AKI) is usually based on measurements of blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and serum creatinine. BUN and serum creatinine are not very sensitive or specific for the diagnosis of AKI because they are affected by many renal and nonrenal factors that are independent of kidney injury or kidney function. Biomarkers of AKI that are made predominantly by the injured kidne...
